Shared note | 9/6/2001 Mario Julio de la Iglesia-Dealy Mario Julio de la Iglesia-Dealy 16, of Meridian, passed away August 31, 2001 at a Boise hospital. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 8, 2001 at 10:30 a.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel, Meridian. He will be put to rest in Meridian Cemetery next to his beloved friend, Andy. Mario was born on a beautiful day, on May 15, 1985, in Seattle, Wash. at the University of Washington. He dearly loved music, so it is fitting that the words to so many songs remind us of him. Mario lived for his family and friends and so enjoyed any sort of gathering. He loved to listen to all of the different conversations going on around him. Some of his best times were when Mario, his best friends, Andy Hoffpauir and Erin Shawver, (The Three Musketeers), were sent to sit in the hall for telling jokes in class. He especially enjoyed school, choir and his many classmates. He attended Centennial High School and was looking forward to the new school year and being reunited with old friends. Mario brought out the best in people and was an inspiration to everyone. He enjoyed teasing those he loved. He treasured his Special Olympics medal that he won for skiing and coming down the hill the fastest. Mario is survived by his mother, Karen Dealy of Meridian, his Daddy Dee, Orval Dealy of Kent, Wash.; his two brothers, Russell Dealy of Vancouver, Wash. and Sean Dealy of Boise; his sisters-in-law, Becky and Winnie; his grandmother, Eleanor Power; his uncle, Dale Johnston, both of Meridian; uncle and aunt, Jim and Rene Delaney of Boise; his dearly beloved nieces and nephews, Nicholas, Christopher and Brianna of Vancouver, Wash.; Chelsea and Aydric of Boise; his cousins, Tara of Meridian; Jeremy of Boise; and Ely of Phoenix, Ariz.; and many special aunties and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Flick Johnston, and his best friend, Andy, who is now with him. Mario has earned his wings and now can fly and make the best music. We will miss him terribly. Visitation will be held Friday, September 7, 2001 from 3-8 p.m. at Summers Funeral Homes, Ustick Chapel, Meridian. |
